Mick Thomson de Slipknot nos pidi\u00f3 un conjunto de Blackouts de seis cuerdas personalizado para complementar los riffs complejos y aplastantes que toca en las afinaciones ca\u00eddas. \u00abHice que apretaran la parte inferior porque afinando bajo como nosotros, no necesitas ese bajo ‘guau’ \u201d, dice Mick. \u201cY ajust\u00e9 un poco el extremo superior para obtener m\u00e1s cortes sin ser \u00e1spero ni rasposo. Son extremadamente silenciosos, extremadamente limpios y tienen mucho m\u00e1s tono que la t\u00edpica pastilla activa. Suenan m\u00e1s reales. Los arm\u00f3nicos son m\u00e1s ricos. Es un sonido m\u00e1s grande en una gama m\u00e1s amplia de frecuencias \u00ab.<\/p>\n

El modelo de puente EMTY tiene la energ\u00eda y la salida de los Blackouts originales, pero con la voz personalizada de Mick, que enfatiza el trozo de percusi\u00f3n de las notas silenciadas con la palma.
